Despite all the scary predictions of various super spreader events and massive mainstream warnings about them, there has not been any superspreader events documented. I believe that a new word was created for something that has never happened. If you know of one, with facts, please let me know.

Events that were to be superspreaders:

  • Biogen’s Boston Biotech Conference (Feb 26-27, 2020)
  • Winter Party Festival, Miami Beach (Mar 4-10, 2020)
  • Porcupine Freedom Festival (June 22-28, 2020)
  • Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, South Dakota (Aug 7-16, 2020)
  • Rose Garden Nomination of Amy Coney Barrett (Sep 26, 2020)
  • Tuscaloosa Football Celebration (Jan 11, 2021) 
  • George Floyd and Lockdown Protests 

None of these proved to be superspreader events. Next: The Superbowl.
